DEATH OF A FLEMPTON SOLDIER

We very much regret having to record the death of Prvt.Fredk.James Dorling, 15th Suffolks of this parish. He had seen early service in France, and was wounded. On rejoining his regiment he was sent out to Egypt. On the 8th November it seems he was killed in action, fighting against the Turks in the attack on Gaza. Prvt Fre J.Dorling was nearly years of age. He was always a thorough going, deserving lad. He received his education at the Flempton Schools. Mr. and Mrs.Dorling, his parents, may well feel proud of having such a son. Meanwhile, we offer our most sincere sympathy in the great loss they have sustained.
